Charlie Dappen Named Operator of the Year

Lead operator Charlie Dappen of Dodge Center, Minnesota, has been awarded the 2020 Class B Operator of the Year Award by the Minnesota Wastewater Operators Association. “Charlie’s work with PeopleService is exemplary and this award is well deserved,” said Southern Minnesota Region Manager Herb Krueger. The Clear Take interviewed Charlie in 2014 after he attended our leadership conference in Okoboji, Iowa. This is when he shared that “PeopleService does more to prepare us for success than any company I have ever worked for or know about. I appreciate the seminars and workshops because we get to meet and interact with other operators from across the Midwest and learn about the issues they face and what their priorities are. It’s exciting to learn from your peers and get to know your counterparts from other regions.
