1. Keep a colander in your sink to catch the potato peels when preparing mashed potatoes. Toss them in the trash.
2. When making that delicious green bean casserole, keep one empty can on the counter as a repository for extra turkey grease and leftover gravy. But, is there ever really leftover gravy? Toss the can of grease in the trash when congealed.
