PeopleService Industry Ambassador Dennis White recently wrote an article for Municipal Sewer & Water magazine that features a former PeopleService employee who is now the water operator for Antarctica. (Yes, the continent.)

In the article, “Life at the Bottom of the Water Industry”, White chronicles the professional journey of Coby Forth, who in 2018 graduated with a degree in water quality science from Vermillion Community College and accepted a job with PeopleService in Riverside, Iowa. He moved on to another wastewater facility position in LaPorte City, Iowa. Then, in 2020, Forth spotted the job posting for Antarctica.

“This has been a real adventure and career builder all while getting paid to use my skills as a professional water operator,” Forth told White. “I must say, this has been one of the great adventures of my life.”
