PeopleService is honored to have been selected as recipients of the 2023 HIRE Vets Medallion Award. The award recognizes exemplary efforts in recruiting, employing and retaining our nation’s veterans. It’s the only federal award recognizing exceptional achievement in veteran employment.
PeopleService was formally recognized by U.S. Acting Secretary of Labor Julie A. Su during a virtual award ceremony on Nov. 8.
Recipients of the 2023 HIRE Vets Medallion Award met rigorous employment and veteran integration assistance criteria, including veteran hiring and retention percentages; availability of veteran-specific resources; leadership programming for veterans; dedicated human resource efforts; pay compensation; and tuition assistance programs for veterans.
PeopleService President Chad Meyer said there’s no greater honor the company could receive.
“We’re proud to support veterans and provide them opportunities for meaningful, long-term careers,” Meyer said. “They bring so much to the communities we serve and we’re so thankful to have them as part of the PeopleService team.”
